I’m doing it!! Actually doing it! I sort of don’t want to say that I’m doing it. Or share it with very many, because then it gets weird and given my history there’s a pressure. A expectation.

I just puked in my mouth.

I’ve made some rather large personal discoveries about who I was, who I am, who I am meant to be in the last few months. With some serious deep dives in the last couple of weeks. Thoughts about perception. And Upper Limit Problems. About what it means to create things in your life and what it takes to do that. About perceived failures and wins and what your very own, beautifully unique gifts are and how you can bring them into the world. What it means to be curious in your life and how that curiosity, rather than striving and driving can bring more opportunity into your world.

It’s been a big time!!!

So, I headed out for a walk two weeks ago. I’ve been making extra effort to listen to my body since struggling with some joint pain and inflammation. I started regular Chiropractic treatment again. I’ve been really conscious of limiting any of the inflammatory foods that I know affect me negatively. And I’ve been moving with purpose and pleasure.

I’ve also been working on mindset. Mindset in all areas of my life. I’m human, and just like many others, I can spiral down rather than up and I’ve been attempting to be a more conscious creator in my life. What if? That’s the mantra that I’m using if I find myself riddled with worry or anxiety, fear or dread.

What if you could run again? What if your body doesn’t hurt when you do it? What if you do it for fun again? What if you just run to the end of the block? What if you’ve taken all the time you need and you could love it again? What if you finish that book and it’s a best seller….

And so I did. Run that is.

The very last official timed run I did was The Police Half in Lethbridge. Where I didn’t even look at my watch. I ran solely from feel, which is what I also did in my early days of running. Before I had a giant GPS system on my wrist! I felt amaze-balls following that run and then got all sucked into doing more and being faster and ended up hurt. Again.

With the introduction of the run back into my week, I’m also finding even more pleasure in the food that I’m eating. Eating and moving for health and hunger, purpose and pleasure is the key to finding pure pleasure in the body you are in. And for creating a body you want to be in. That’s the key. You have to be open to create it!

I’ve had much more energy AND I’m more creative in the kitchen.

I found a few recipes for Chia Porridge online and it’s so delicious!!! Not only is it delicious and REAL, but it held me post run and through the Spin Class I taught at noon. This is my version of it. Enjoy!
